Preparations

I'm now only one day away from the big trip! I can't believe how quickly it has snuck up on me. I fly out tomorrow night and I am still busy tying up loose ends before I leave. I've been visiting friends and family, calling my credit card companies, doing laundry, buying travel-sized items that I probably don't need, exchanging, cash and most importantly- packing! It is always a challenge to pack light for a long trip but I think I'm doing a pretty good job this time. Cricket seems to think she is coming along for the ride, she's in for a rude awakening!
